Feeling pretty pleased with this little experiment! Using SDRangel on my phone, it's so nice to have real-time granular gain control - who needs attenuators??

Passed the practice exam for the advanced license for the first time today, looking promising! Just need to do it consistently today #hamradio

The station grows! I've inherited a dual band J-Pole for 2m/70cm, 20ish feet of aluminum pole sections, and a bunch of good coax - signal reports ought to start improving once I get it set up 😁
