That’s terrifying,It’s heartbreaking to see sports turn so dangerous.

Totally! Events like the 2010 Olympics or the Blue Jays’ World Series run really show how sports can bring everyone together

That was shocking and frightening to watch. It’s scary to see something on the field get that dangerous, and the 4-game suspension and fine barely capture how serious it was.

Totally agree! Funding makes sure para athletes can train and compete, supports inclusion, and helps grow sports at every level from local leagues to the Paralympics and Olympics.

Yeah, hot weather can make people more irritable and aggressive, so cooler conditions might help calm things down but you still need good crowd control and safety measures.

I really feel for Eston Riverside Golf Course because the flooding must’ve hit their revenue hard, and repairing all that damage won’t be cheap of course

Montreal’s Olympic Stadium has already cost billions, and fixing it will take even more. So, I feel it might be better to accept it as a costly legacy and focus on more useful projects.

Since you'll have the opportunity to be involved with athletes regularly, it might motivate you to stay in touch with the gym and your physical health.

It might be difficult for a business major to focus on their physical health, however, I really appreciate how you got everything planned beforehand.
October 5, 2025 at 11:23 PM
However, it'll also depend on access to fitness facilities or time-off policies, if the workplace environment is balanced then it might be easier for me to take time for physical activities.
October 5, 2025 at 11:18 PM
I can imagine that once I start working full time as an organizational therapist, my opportunities for physical activity would change and it might be difficult to maintain a regular fitness routine cause long working hours won't leave me with enough time to prioritize my health.

Being an international student, I definitely was curious about ice hockey and wanted to participate however, once I got familiar with the expenses involved I definitely was taken back
so yes, I do agree that I hockey is uneconomical and it does create a barrier for many people

I agree with you when you say that chess isn’t really a sport sense is mostly about using the brain, but I still wouldn’t compare it with music because I believe that chess is a structured strategy game with clear rules whereas music doesn’t follow any rules and it’s mostly about expression.

The article I found is Gender in Ice Hockey:Women in male territory. It highlights #feministtheory by examining how female hockey players face challenges in a male dominated sport. The study show shows how they deal with unfair conditions, and how ideas about men and women affect their experiences.
September 20, 2025 at 10:13 PM
The fact that this is not just a problem with the WNBA, but with almost all male dominated sports is heartbreaking. It’s disappointing and heartbreaking because it’s 2025 already and while we like to think we have come a long way the reality is we still have a long way to go.
