He has worked on improving neurospheres to model the development of the enteric nervous system. They did this by combining in vitro culturing with specific growth factors, followed by implantation in ovo to track the progress of enteric neural stem cells during ENS development!

The data reveal the importance specific genes during rRNA modifications and ribosomal assembly in specifying mesenchymal cell fate of cranial neural crest cells in mouse embryos - and a connection with neuroblastoma

Have you ever wondered how nails grow? Well today is the day we find out!
Nail proximal fold stem cells can change their fate in response to injury - here we find out how BMP and WNT signalling contribute to this by using mouse models

Radek will describe an unrecognised cell population, which takes part in regeneration initiation and uncover its role in tail regeneration of Xenopus laevis embryos. Don't miss out!

Cellular senescence can be either protective or detrimental to an organism - this depends entirely on the situation!
She will tell us about its role both during mammary gland involution and its implications in breast cancer

Krzysztof will talk about the largest tissue of our body - the skin, and how hair follicle stem cells are involved in hair regeneration, covering the Bmp-Id2 axis and its role in quiescence.

Igor will provide us new insights on how the cells decide their fate, and what is happening during early development. Stay tuned!
