I struggle a lot with that myself. See a lot of people struggle with theirs.

My advice? Know you aren't the one to be blamed. We never agreed to have dysfunctional brains. We don't have the means to combat symptoms spurred on from our brains inability to produce the right amount of transmittors.

When you feel like you are dumb, are lazy, not worthy, are stupid, or anything that makes you hate yourself, just remember that those feelings aren't true. You aren't any of those things. That oppressive weed strangling you, that hole within your heart, comes about because our brains aren't working.

Take a break from what you are doing. Put down that stressful project or work. It's alright to give your brain a break from the stresses of life. We need to be kind to ourselves, and take the time to treat our dysfunctional brains. Do what relaxes you. Reach out to friends. Affirm your worth.

We all can't hold ourselves to the standards of this society. It only judges your worth based on your productivity.

Guess what?

Society would grind to a halt if all of humanity dealt with the mental illnesses we struggle with. We need to be better at NOT comparing ourselves to people around us.

Let us acknowledge our limitations, and do what we know helps our brains to settle down. Help them function at a level where we are happy and excited to do the things we both have to, and enjoy doing in life.

Love y'all. Be kind to yourself, and to those struggling around you.
