I actually made a shield/counter build just to beat him after 4 hrs of trying (pre-patch). I couldn’t understand why I was getting hit even after rolling. Seems like FS patched that bug, and made him slower.

I'm assuming this is USB as well (or am I mistaken, and this is serial)? I've seen other BF2 cards that have USB soldered to the 4 available pads just behind where this vertical connector sits on the PCB.
