Donald Trump and Elon Musk are doing everything they can to make it harder for seniors to get their Social Security benefits.

It's just plain ugly. I’m fighting back.

When you look at this crowd AOC is drawing today, here’s the part you should remember.

This is Greeley, Colorado where GOP Congressman Gabe Evans refuses to hold a town hall.

They should all be counting their days in office.

It is the people who will win over Elon Musk!

Social Security is a promise that this nation made to itself 90 years ago this August. And now in 2025, that promise is being broken.

Rollover and play dead wins. I'm honestly really sorry everyone. This is a bad, depressing outcome. We tried our best, and we didn't succeed. We're circling up with Indivisible group leaders over the next day to plan for what accountability will look like. Stay tuned.
The final tally to advance the CR is 62-38.

The Democrats who voted for cloture, giving Donald Trump everything he wants:

Cortez Masto (NV)
Durbin (IL)
Fetterman (PA)
Gillibrand (NY)
Hassan (NH)
Peters (MI)
Schatz (HI)
Schumer (NY)
Shaheen (NH)

Thanks to Tim Walz for leading the way on this.
Democratic campaign committees and state parties are partnering to host a series of town halls in GOP-held districts after Republicans were advised against holding town halls.

The districts: AZ-6, CO-8, IA-3, MI-10, NE-2, PA-7, PA-8.

It would be absolutely inexcusable for any Senate Democrat to vote to advance the extreme MAGA spending bill.

Democrats cannot cave and give Trump more power to dismantle the federal government.

Remember: whatever happens from here on out the Dems who vote for this GOP budget are complicit. Because they willingly surrendered the power they had to stop it.

The idea that allowing what’s been happening the last two months to continue is a way to avoid “blame” is madness

Schumer isn’t making any sense to me. If they’re already wreaking havoc on the government without the CR, then why vote for the CR that FUNDS them to continue the bloodbath?
HAYES: There's an unconstitutional assault on the government right now

SCHUMER: There is, absolutely

HAYES: But they say you're not fighting!

SCHUMER: They're already doing it without this CR

Schumer’s decision is an unconscionable surrender that shows he does not have what it takes to meet this moment, and the charade he pulled yesterday makes it even worse. Time for new leadership in the Democratic Party.

@martinomalley.bsky.social Governor, will you please help us keep our benefits? Could we sue DOGE, perhaps as a class-action?
