Finally got around to posting my final project from the semester! I did a play on the classic Hanged Man tarot card but with a Joker card inspired Jester. The whole piece is done entirely on King, Queen and Jack playing cards and drawn in Sharpie pen due to the slick surface! #art
The art piece is rendered on top of playing cards that have all been layed on top of each other and adhered together to create the working canvas. The pose that the figure is depicted in shows the classic hanged man position with the figure upside down, one leg tied to a pole above leaving them dangling before the viewer. The model is of a Jester wearing black and red garments that swap colors on opposite sides from one another, as well as they only have half of their face revealed the other half coveref by a mask.

Here's a surrealism piece I did earlier this year where I was playing around with changing the size of different objects, in this case making the cat very small! I used ink for almost all of this piece, though the shadow is made with graphite! #art #ink
The piece depicts a scene where a cat is shrunk down and is surrounded by giant blades of grass and is standing besides a large ball. In the foreground is some rock like textures and as the background receeds further back it darkens into an endless grass forest. The entire piece is done in ink, almost entirely with a cross hatching technique. The shadow of the cat is done using graphite.

Hey! I made this for my art class! I've been super busy trying to finish up my final projects before the end of the semester so i forgot to post it! I spliced together a Human heart and a Sea Urchin! All done in ink~ #art #ink
Art depicts a human heart that is covered in sea urchin spikes with a circle in the middle of it showing a hollow cavity. Inside is what one would typically find inside inside a sea urchin. All the art is done in ink, a mixture if stippling, scribbling and hatching.

Thank you for your patience! After about 60 hours of work this piece is complete! It is done entirely in ink, a mixture of techniques (but mostly stippling). Enjoy my art gallery of fears! #art #ink
The piece shows art depicting an art gallery with art work displaying art pieces showing different natural world fears that the human mind would make up. From left to right you have a tree thats reaching out of the frame with a hand like branch, behind that a twisted depiction of a crows eye, across the way you have a bisected pomegranate constantly bleeding and next to that a painting of a tuna thats been knocked down and broken with its guts spilled. Down the middle a shadow hand extends down from a dark monolith doorway in the middle of a dark birchwood forest at night. Overtop looms a large full moon on a starless night with only a few dark clouds in the sky.

I have some more art pieces in the works, but while I'm cooking with those I'll post some work that I've made within the last year periodically while I am working on different projects.

So this was a self portrait I did, the medium was done in alcohol markers and ink (micron pens).
The image depicts a woman to the right with a hand to her mouth and a crown floating above her head. The entire art piece is not in a typical color scheme where the woman in depicted in blues and greens and the background has red compliments. A large red circle encompasses a large portion of the background with red light beams shooting off from the circle in every direction.

I spent 29 hours over about a month on this piece for one of my classes. I'm really proud of it but golly am I tired. Its a white charcoal still life on black paper. #art
The image depicts a white charcoal still life drawing of a vintage camera with a spiral cage necklace laid in front of it. To the side i the center of the drawing is a sheathed dragger, further right is two polished stones and just behind those is a japanese clay tea cup. Then at the very bottom of the paper is a ring. The drawing is framed in such a way that the field of view is focused in the back so the image is sharper towards the top of the page and as the viewers eyes travel towards the bottom of the page the image gradually blurs.
