Check out this post about a new feature on Ravelry, a site for yarn crafting folk 18 YEARS ago. Note all the reactions you can register. They weren’t all there in the beginning, the site changes with feedback (there used to be a hate button, glad it’s gone-we don’t need more of that in the world!)

I don’t think most people (who are younger) even recognize the hammer & sickle as representing labor. It’s just “Russian”, as is the Cryllic “backwards R”.

Those pics are really deceptive. I encourage Oregonians to correct the false impression being given. This is the reality: there will clouds, foggy mists, sprinkles, showers, rain, heavy rain and torrential rain for the next 9 months with scattered sun breaks and a two week respite in Feb.
