They claim to refuse to work with the AfD but already have done so in recent votes in parliament. Likely new chancellor Merz has expressed far-right views in many regards. The party is incredibly anti-Palestine (as most of Germany). And the European defense they want will be mostly anti-immigrant.

I welcome the surprisingly strong result of the left party in Germany but the nazi party got more than double the amount of votes and ranks second overall behind the increasingly far-right conservative party.
