There is no consumer hardware + software that can provide uninterrupted cryptography chain, very few companies can achieve that.

The last thing social media moderation need is a metadata incentive that is already gamed. bsky.app/profile/bots...
Thanks to @contentauth.bsky.social C2PA, I have authenticated this famous picture as taken by Hans Lucas of the Vatican Printing Press.
It was taken by a C2PA compliant Camera: Sony ILCE-7M4

I have only very little experience with containers... but setting up correctly node-gyp is pain. If I do that right once, can I reuse it in other machine?

Cool idea! Is it compatible with node-gyp?

People do crazy things for increased organic reach on social media. Doing metadata cryptography right way could boost them to the sky as long as very few people are doing that. That could be nice incentive.

If there is uninterrupted cryptography chain from chip all the way to web that could work

Social websites could simply promote verifiable content authenticity metadata. contentauthenticity.org

Adobe originally made this for themselves. They probably thought they would be leader in AI so they made solution for problem. But they don't propagate this much as finger is pointing at them.
Content Authenticity Initiative
Join the movement for content authenticity and provenance. The CAI is a global community promoting adoption of the C2PA Content Credentials standard.
