Our NMSS intern Jeremy Luo shared "I think this summer was an amazing introduction to research and I enjoyed it a lot! ... I'm definitely going to continue trying to do research with MS and I'm actually applying to a lot of MS labs at Vanderbilt this semester. Thanks so much everyone!"

Study coordinator Susan Robles is a co-author on this paper from the ENERGY study, which found that self-hypnosis and meditation can help with #MS fatigue. You can read more on HealthCentral at the link below!
New research suggests that practicing self-hypnosis may help restore some energy for people with MS who experience exhaustion. "With hypnosis, you are creating a state that makes the brain more open to suggestions," says the study’s lead author, Mark Jensen, Ph.D..

Jeremy is a rising junior at Vanderbilt majoring in Medicine, Health and Society, and also plans to go to medical school. This summer, he's excited to get more hands-on clinical research experience!

Dawn Ehde, PhD, has been awarded a $200,000 grant by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The grant will be distributed over two years starting July 1, 2025.
