This Halloween, meet a spooky #GreatLakes specimen, the bloody red shrimp! Like vampires, bloody red shrimp avoid direct sunlight, and so they'll swarm in the shadows of boats and piers.

We had a fin-tastic time at the Wisconsin Science Festival this weekend! Over 250 people dropped by to learn about #sturgeon, coastal engineering, maritime archaeology, plastic pollution, and zebra mussels. Titus Seilheimer also dissected a juvenile sturgeon.
