I think he is honest in a way that other politicians are not. Not sure if the OP has listened to a lot of politicians give interviews, but they often boldly lie in obvious ways. Listening to the reminick interview with mamdani, he just doesn't do that. He acknowledges his limitations

'High tea' is wrong in creole and french. It's ah-ee-tee in french and maybe ah-yee-tee in creole? (not sure). The ï indicates that you pronounce that i separately as a short 'e' sound. it's called a trema
