Bright red structures were spotted in Dongsha Atoll’s lagoon on 19 May, captured by #Sentinel-2. Likely an intense algal bloom—more vivid than any seen before. Similar features appeared faintly only three times since 2020. This year: four clear sightings. Visit our #BCEarthGallery:
