Meet Likkit Pocinwong! He is a born and raised PNWer and UW grad. He annually participates in a 24-hour game marathon to raise funds for @extralife4kids.bsky.social, benefitting @seattlechildrens.org. His team as a whole has raised over $620,000 since 2013!

In the 60s and 70s, UW Nephrologists pioneered the developments of dialysis and kidney transplantation. At 71, Linda Johnston shares her experience as a UW patient during this time, receiving her first transplant at age 16.

On Oct 25, scientists from around the world, including UW Professor Dr. Larry Corey & the team behind "Ending HIV: The Journey to a Vaccine" will join the 11th annual Raw Science Film Festival.

The film was honored with the Jury Award for Best Professional Documentary Feature.

Congrats to Dr. Jennifer Ross, Allergy and Infectious Diseases, 2025 recipient of the Fialkow Award!

Dr. Ross is an infectious diseases physician scientist based at the Puget Sound VA. Her research focuses on using applied sciences to inform policies for HIV and TB prevention.
