I would really love for it to be named tsaheylu even in English. It would be something that boosts both creatures, it would require mana but not tapping creatures and work like equip: once it's done, it stays until it's undone.

Imps would so have equip mechanisms with their weapons being artifacts! While Goetias would be more magic oriented I suppose, with sorceries, instants, and maybe enchantments.

I would def want different mechanics between Na'vi (prob smth to do with the kuru but different from equip mechanics since both the Na'vi and their mount are creatures, and different from saddle, training or enlist) and humans (again, different from equip, crew or spacecraft).
