Even if Farke can’t see what everyone’s talking about simply look at the threat in the last 20mins vs the rest of the game!!! Went from fuck all to dangerous! It shouldn’t need a professional team plus data analysis to work that out!!!

I just think those early performances showed so much promise which feels non existent now. They can say what they want I’m just not seeing many positives. The goal came from our only shot in the 1st half it’s not like we made a good start. I really hope I’m wrong

I agree, he’s had one good game and the rest have been horrendous yet he looks like the first name on the team sheet 🤯

My thoughts exactly, those first few games we had energy and an air about us that we could get something in every game. That seems to have gone and been replaced with a feeling of defeat from the first whistle

Watching them play this season shows me where Farke is going wrong. Their squad isn’t superior to ours but their manager isn’t approaching games with fear, they play with energy and desire which is completely lacking from us at the moment.

The players on the pitch are capable of more than they showed, the system and style of play are not working. That’s nothing to do with the transfer window or the ref 🤷🏼♂️

Gabby is good going forward so I don’t understand what he thought we’d even gain from that substitution! Also putting Piroe close to DCL then not putting the ball up to him and when Piroe found space we decided not to pass him the ball 🤯

This isn’t a surprise, we’ve got no plan for going forward, there’s no belief or desire to play forward.

I agree about defending the inside channel it’s a definite tactic I just think Gnonto has been really disciplined this season so he’d be fine plus offer more the other way.

Everything is perfect except we don’t have an out on that right hand side. Plus Sessegnon is getting very brave with how advanced he is. I’m not sure this would happen if he was worried about DJ or Gnonto

I honestly think one of the biggest issues will be clauses in contracts … we were stung last time by the loan clauses in case of relegation. Surely we’re refusing such agreements but others may be fine, sell in clauses etc will all play a part.

I know Aaronson isn’t the long term answer, but for Newcastle I’d say his work rate and pace would be of benefit. I’d certainly rather see that than Gruev trudging around in CDM. If we sign a CAM now Farke is unlikely to throw them in against Newcastle.
