The last colour image was also done in May 2024. The last two images were done much later that year. So yeah, it became a slasher, although I was unwilling to let anything fatal happen to these characters, and I would love to revisit them at some point.
The girl with brown hair looks skeptically at her friend the girl with blue-green hair who is terrified. "Come on," says the brown-haired girl, "how'd ya know it wasn't, I don't know, a bear or somethin?" The girl with blue-green hair points away into the forest and says "Take a look for yourself and tell me if you ever heard of a bear doing that to a person!" The girl with blue-green hair cries out to her friends "We were so wrong! It's not the Troglodyte doing the killings! It's something else! Or someone!" Far off in the background stands the silhouette of a hairy bearded figure holding an axe in his hands. "But...but the White Elk Mountain is dead!" says the girl with glasses, "...isn't he?" "Apparently not," says the blue-green haired girl.

I did these drawings in May 2024. The first one started as a pinup-type drawing until I drew the shadowy figure in the background, and something like a story started developing with each drawing after that.
In a forest, a woman with ginger hair and a low cut blue top looks around her, not seeing the shadowy creature with red eyes peering out at her from behind a tree. A woman with brown hair is kidnapped by a large man wearing a red cap. He ties her up and gags her with duct tape wrapped round her mouth, and holding her face he says with a grin on his face "This time I think I'll use humans to bait the Troglodyte..." Two women are deep in a forest. One with green and blue hair says "I'm starting to think that crazy old man back at the gas station had a point about these woods..." "Uh-huh..." says the other woman, who's taller than the green and blue-haired woman, "And that stuff about a troglodyte?" Far off in the background a silhouette with red eyes seemingly stalks them. A woman with glasses appears to be lost and appears to be confused. Behind her, red eyed with its mouth and teeth now showing, the Troglodyte comes creeping...

Bethany looking expectant...but for what exactly? Bethany now has her mouth stuffed with a dark blue sponge (or two). And now her mouth is plastered over with a large strip of microfoam tape. And is further secured with grey tape wrapped around her mouth.
