I really think accessible continued education would be beneficial on so many levels. A big one being exposure to different people and ideas. It also could reduce loneliness, specifically for retirees.

This is an area where I think AI could be helpful by democratizing access to knowledge and instruction. But of course, the ultrarich want to use it to hold more wealth and power while destroying the environment. We can never have nice things.

I would love to take courses at my local community college on a bunch of random shit. But last time I checked, which was years ago, it was over $200 per credit.

Children are basically property here. That’s why public policies let parents override what is empirically best for their/other children/society because of vibes. See, vaccines, book bans, school curriculums
