On my way back to NYC, I visited Cornell and shared our recent studies with colleagues. I had great discussions with Frank Wise, Nicholas Rivera, and Peter McMahon, enjoyed inspiring lab tours, and appreciated the warm hospitality of the Wise group.

We have received a TÜBİTAK 1001 grant to elevate our AI for Optics research to the field of Quantum.

With our “Unscrambling quantum light in scattering media with artificial neural networks” project, we will teach neural networks to “see”quantum light through messy environments.

After SPIE conference at San Diego, we visited UCLA and Caltech. We had the chance to get lab tours from Prof. Aydogan Ozcan and Prof. Alireza Marandi. It was truly inspiring to see their groundbreaking research and enjoy such generous hospitality!

Happy to share our latest preprint: “Fiber-based Diffractive Deep Neural Network”! This optical computing system uses a fiber with tunable diffraction that excels in biomedical disease, fashion, and geospatial classification tasks & can perform all-optical computing too! arxiv.org/abs/2502.11885
