Like what would even happen if you tried to make a dark world outside? Would it just not work, spread infinitely, or would it be confined to a certain section of outside? If the third, what would the entrance if you could even call it that look like from the light world? Would it just be like a huge ominous cuboid of darkness?

toby fox 100% was writing about himself somewhat when it comes to anytime kris tries to play the piano. whenever kris is being controlled they just cant play, with susie commenting on how bad it is. But whenever kris is being themselves (ie. inside noelles house without the soul and when they that massive piano and i quote "(Your hands began to move on their own...)" ) they can play perfectly, which matches with tobys talk about his wrist pains making him unable to write code or play the piano. Toby also said on Jan 11th, 2016 "There's a song called "Last Goodbye" on the soundtrack. The piano playing on that song is myself playing live. That's my self expression." Basically stating playing piano his is form of self expression, which someone who states would most likely be upset if wrist pains denied them of such expression. which makes me think somewhat that when kris is controlled its like toby with his wrist pains, and when kris can play its when toby doesnt have pains. this is most likely looking into things a little to much but it just clicked for me and i have to tell someone. What made me even think about this was someone tweeting that toby writes like someone took everything from him, which feels true especially in this. Even if kris isn't meant to represent the player with the soul taking that role, i feel like if you had to pin even a part of kris to someone, Its the fox himself.

Ok so that Zapper from Catti's house turns into stone even though Catti's house was (probably) never a Dark World and because of that I was wondering what exactly is the extent of Darkners 'not belonging'? I mean for example Queen and Tenna had to had been in an electronic store at some point and before that being assembled in a factory somewhere yet they 'belong' in their respective Dark Worlds just fine

I'm kinda scared of Asriel Deltarune because of Asriel undertale's personality... even discounting his days as flowey, asriel's behavior in his boss battle and a few red flags in his optional conversation with frisk at the end of the game give me the sense that his potential to become a really toxic and awful person is about equal to his potential to grow up wise and compassionate. Like in undertale Asriel is SO obsessed with control. A lot of the kind of person flowey is, is the flaws that asriel already had plus him, as a child stuck in this awful situation he can't do anything about, finding something weaker than him that he CAN control (in flowey's case, the whole underground) and playing with it in more and more cruel ways so that he can feel powerful again and cope with all the bad stuff he's helpless to change. and all that culminates how he treats "chara" in the true pacifist final boss fight. And in deltarune, some pretty bad stuff has happened to asriel too. first Dess disappeared then his parents got divorced, which tends to be pretty upsetting for young kids especially because they're powerless to do anything to stop it. and deltarune toriel seems like a nightmare helicopter parent at least in her son's case--she's SUPER controlling and overprotective of asriel because he's her favorite. with a home situation/tragic backstory like that, despite that he's so popular and successful at academics/sports/church/etc, he still might feel pretty helpless--and considering the way toriel is handling kris' depression i doubt either of the siblings has been to therapy to learn better coping skills. now as far as we know deltarune asriel cn't bend causality to his every whim, but if he still wants to take out all his stress on someone littler, weaker, and more vulnerable than him, he has an extremely easy target right there in the form of Kris. But we still have no way of knowing how similar delta asriel really is to the og flavor, but given asriel undertale's personality & behavior in that game + asriel deltarune being Hometown's golden boy i can see him being a secret garbage man and sliding totally under the radar. i really hope for kris' sake that this is Not In Fact The Case, but i also cannot unsee the possibility

I feel like people can be really dismissive of the idea that Flowey not having a SOUL affects who he is and how he behaves himself. One of the very first things that we learn about the SOUL is that it's "the very culmination of your being". A SOUL represents who you are, it's what allows you to live and feel. If a SOUL dies, then the individual dies. The fact that Flowey is alive without a SOUL is anomalous, it's not something that meant to happen. It's difficult for Flowey to be himself when he doesn't have the literal thing that's meant to represent who he is. Think about how the human SOULs still have conciousness despite not being attached to their bodies. Flowey does not have that whatsoever.

Genuine question, is it wrong for me to find kinship in Kris or Chara, despite the fact dissociating from them is the entire point? Because everywhere I mention I do, I'm met with radio silence and 0 engagement, and that's not good for my anxiety. I just want to know if I'm saying something wrong.

I hope at the end of the game we get to keep Castle Town, since it's named after us. ( [PLAYERSNAME]Town.) Just something that we can access after we try to open a save file we're banished from, if that makes sense? Since Toby said "I hope you can befriend everyone someday", it would be very sweet if in the good outcome of the story the Fun Gang entrusts us to keep it safe.
