The creation of a Media Production Development Zone was requested to support "plans to convert a more than 200,000-square-foot facility into a space for television and film production," a facility that the producers of Yellowstone are interested in engaging.

Hello Bluesky, we're the Center for Entertainment and Media Industries! At CEMI, we research the Texas media landscape, support students studying and planning for careers in the media industries, and foster relationships between UT-Austin, the local media ecosystem, and the larger media industries.
