I'll be at Mystic South again this year. I'll be teaching a workshop on sigil magic (the chaos magic version) and leading a ritual titled "A Ritual of Resistance and Alliance". I'm looking forward to both, and to spending a long weekend with my Pagan and witchy friends.

Finishing up my walk early this morning and saw this. "Why is there police tape in my yard???"
Oh, that's the sun coming in through the houses (left is east).
Not sure if this is me getting old or if I just wasn't awake yet. Probably a little of both.

First they came for abortion. Then they came for IVF. They’ll keep coming for more and more rights until they’re stopped. The Alabama IVF case is not the ruling of a court in a constitutional republic. It’s the ruling of a theocracy.

It's unseasonably warm and when I came out of my long sleeve t-shirt after about two miles, I realized I was wearing one of my more provocative Pagan shirts. Thankfully, nobody was interested in a theological debate. While I enjoy religious conversations I didn't have time for one this morning.
