Looking at the C++ code, It seems to set the argument to a given value, and removes it if the value is Null.

Grace talks about “Value” of the information. This reminds me of Benjamin Graham when he talked about “value” investing. I feel like they are similar ideas, to talk the intrinsic value of an asset.
