I think the trouble with this sequence is that the goalkeeper stays fairly stagnant, if the idea is to bring the goalkeeper to become part of the backline, he has the license to move or slightly adjust his positioning with the ball. Too often, the keeper is rooted and that's a big issue.

I think the team comes first, missing chances is not a concern. Acting poorly towards your teammates could be a concern. I get that this can happen when you're young. Hopefully Maresca/James addresses it.
