I recently got a library card. They offer access to eLearning courses, eBooks and DVDs and CDs as you mentioned. I installed "Libby" on my iPad and I'm able to read books on my iPad. The license expires after 21 days and I can renew titles on the app as well.

Mister Senator. Reminds me of the 3/5 compromise when the slave (red) States wanted slaves to be counted as a person for representation. It ended up in the 3/5 compromise. I am guessing that the GOP wants mass disappearings in Blue States to get our number of seats in Congress down.

I hearing about the first fire departments from my college economics professor. They were privateers who would arrive at the site of a burning building and then estimate how much the property owner could afford to pay and demand that as payment.
