And if history is any guide, the league will continue to stumble from crisis to crisis (real or imagined), the people in charge will change after a few years, and the league will continue to exist and sometimes even thrive despite itself.

It’s helpful to have distance from the announcement, processing time, and reminders that the camaraderie and other great things still exist. The rules may have been my introduction to the game, but it’s not the only reason I’ve stuck around as long as I have.

I just hate when teams with good looks feel the need to have an off color alternate. It’s an even worse idea when your throwback alternates are the best thing you’ve ever wore.
