My understanding is the issue is that Powell supposedly mis-led Congress as to the cost of the Fed building renovations.

I think we all know who Maduro has to bribe to get a pardon, the question is how much will it cost. The going rate seems to be about $1 - $2 million to DJT, but this is for a sitting,corrupt President of a country, not just a typical GOP white collar criminal. So an amount closer to $10-$15 million?

Likely his contract calls for him to perform at “Kennedy Center” not words to the effect of “Kennedy Center or another named venue at that location” because who would have foreseen the need to allow for a renaming. Wouldn’t think he must perform at a venue other than the one named in the contract.

I so resent that we have to deal with this crap b/c people didn’t care about the things DJT said when campaigning in 2024, or overlooked his incompetence in his 1st term and didn’t bother to vote against him. If you don’t like either candidate, it still pays to vote for least undesirable choice.

I seem to recall many on the right pretending Charlie Kirk was a saint, and then being upset when people quoted some of his own words to show otherwise. Not aware of anyone on the right who has defended DJT, or put forth quotes from Rob Reiner to show he wasn’t a thoughtful & caring human being.

I believe there are some fishermen from Venezuela who would have a different vote on DJT being given a peace prize.

If the US’s 1.3 million service members could be so easily intimidated by the words of Sen Kelly, I’m very concerned over what their reaction would be if facing an armed Russian or Chinese soldier. It would seem Hegseth has more important things to do than change dept name from “Defense” to “War.”
