Minecraft modder and FLOW fan that sometimes also plays Splatoon and drums. Likes candy and pear juice.
I already posted this as a response on Twitter (I didn't realize you use Bluesky), but I thought I'd also put it here :)

Also, that TV in the back of the stage looks disappointing. I think in all other cities so far it has been a larger LED wall.

What I said about international recording obviously excludes TV shows and similar short appearances abroad as well as Connichi 2019 in Munich (which was broadcast for Connichi 2020, but it seems to be lost media by now, probably wasn't very high quality). Anyway, none were part of a (world) tour.

If you're interested in FTC2023, the day 2 audio (except two songs) is included in the limited edition Blu-Ray of FLOW 20th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL LIVE 2023. The livestream of day 1 is no longer available but it was just recently shown on YouTube promoting this tour. Who knows if it's rereleased later.

I didn't attend the same concert, but I too would've liked an encore. It's unlikely that a show from this tour would be officially recorded because it has never happened internationally. Regardless, it's similar to FLOW THE CARNIVAL 2023, which was livestreamed and also released on CD.

... Usually the cymbal on Iwasaki's right has a black Paiste logo. This one is white. I wonder if this is the same cymbal Iwasaki usually has next to his hi-hat. I thought it sounded similar.

Forgot to post earlier...
I noticed there is something that looks like a snare drum (yellow). I wonder if the drum changes at some point in the concert even though I didn't notice it in the YouTube stream.
Also the rightmost cymbal (green) is different from usual.

The thought of my DSLR photos automatically backing up by themselves sounds really interesting. But then I remember it's not compatible with my own image backup server.

Fun fact to the #26ers: "Re:member" was misspelled as "remenber" in the files of the VRChat world.

I believe the internal files were partially unused because I don't think it was actually possible to hear the Break It Down intro in the concert.

It's also surprising how much I can write about such a little thing. 6 posts?! I just had the suspicion that the recordings might be from an actual concert, looked up any that had the same songs performed and then compared it to the 2020 concert.

Although I feel a bit disappointed I paid to hear something I already had, I'm surprised I didn't recognize that I had heard the exact same performance before when I saw the VRChat concert. I think the experience felt really different. It's surprising what different visuals and some talking can do.

It's also interesting that the first half of the concert have "230620" in the filenames and the second half has "230726". I originally thought those might have been the dates of the recordings, but I now wonder if it's the date of the MC sections that had been recorded for this concert specifically.

This also explains why, unlike the motion capture studio, the recording studio has not been shown anywhere - it didn't exist. However, it was shown in the promotional material of the Code Geass FLOW VRChat concert from 2022 so I assume that one was an unique recording, but I haven't seen it.

I lined up the files from the virtual concert with the 2020 concert and they match perfectly. Only differences are that the crowd has been silenced, some screams mentioning Makuhari (the venue) have been muted and some instrument sounds still ringing from the previous song have been removed.

It seems they had the recordings of all individual mics from that large 2020 concert. They probably needed them for post-production of the releases on DVD/Blu-Ray and on Spotify (audio only). It seems they just reused that good concert audio for this VRChat concert and just did motion capture later.

Being limited to English sounds like a very good idea. On the ex bird site, now a letter site, trending is always full of swear words, basic words like "what" and "is", and then sometimes odd forms of actual things like "on television" (note the preposition!)

Why look at music plugins when you could look at a completely new physical instrument

How does one even get the status of "a global town square" without misleading advertisement? It doesn't even reach everyone globally (look at what happened to Brazil a while ago).
