My latest hand drawn Civil War map is of the Escambia River and Pensacola Bay, August 1864. I used two primary source maps to create this one. Dept of the Gulf Map No 47 and the 1857 A&F RR survey map. It is drawn 3/4 inch to a mile and is 18” by 48”. #usct #escambia #map #civilwar #pollard #penink

Another cool exhibit at the Redlands Juneteenth celebration was a mobile African American museum made up of tripods with large pieces of thematic topics. It was set up so that you could walk through it like a museum. Doug and I had our picture taken at the entrance. #africanamerican #blackhistory
