There remain considerable toxic materials at the Eaton Fire footprint in the residential and business areas that burned, and toxic waste is being carted to waste sites in poor neighborhoods for disposal -- again. Wealthy neighborhoods aren't being used. I wonder why.

People grew up being told that bear spray works, it's a common wrong belief, yes. It makes bears more aggressive and more deadly though even then bear encounters are extremely rare.
