I don't post pictures of myself often, but here's one.
I made the sign on the train ride in. It was cold and windy in the City but I'm glad I was there. I felt tears welling up as TAPS was played to bring the memorial to a close.

That's true. I'd rather never watch football again than switch teams. It's also a generational thing. Regardless of where you live, if your parents or even grandparents are fans, you're raised to be a fan.

I'm a lifelong Steelers fan, born and raised near Pittsburgh and went to college at Pitt. Even though I left the area in 1983, I have remained an unwavering fan. I'm boycotting this season because they have him on the roster. I boycotted when they had Michael Vick, too (dogfighting).

Some are the usual suspects. They played the voters, pretending to care about healthcare until the election, then revealing that they don't truly care after all. I don't receive SNAP and I don't use the ACA, but I still want leaders that fight for those that need help the most. Betrayed.

Keep holding out. If the SNAP benefits come through then republicans don't have that to hold over our heads. republicans can pass the CR with no Dem votes. If they do, they have to own all the pain. They want Dems to vote for it so that, when people lose healthcare, they can say it was bipartisan.

Why are the State Police assaulting the protesters. I spoke with a person on Tuesday who claims to have video evidence of the State Police physically pushing protesters, protecting ICE, harming civilians.
