I think it does a great job of showcasing how integral these things are for humanity no matter to conditions.

But in Gachiakuta we see that even though they live in a very harsh environment humanity still finds ways to enjoy music, art, fashion, and even sweets!

I feel like in so many dystopia settings everyone is depicted as just struggling all the time with no room to worry about happiness and pleasure
