It's called Dandelions in memory of my dad who TAUGHT me to fish. A gift for a lifetime.

Why the Dandelions. Well because the arrival of Dandelions in the spring is a biological clue that my mine and my dad's favorite fish was running in the river and a sign to fish. My dad passed in 1999. But every spring he is right there with me. Accompanied by a smile and tears. Love you dad.

The fly is called Hornberg. It was developed by a Wisconsin Game Warden in the 1920s, but it eventually went out of favor.
It was unique because it could be tied as a wet fly, dry fly, or streamer, depending on the size and type of the hook on which it was tied.
