Yep, sure. I like noise too much and HP and torque curves. Give me a revvy motor and a manual transmission please…

Electric? Bleh, I’m good.

Have you see “The 24 Hour War” documentary on Ford vs Ferrari? It’s a must see, very well done documentary.

The end of Verstappen’s success in F1 began when Newey left.

Challenging circuit…

I thought the same. I’ll let you know when I get it.

I bought myself a 2025 Ferrari F1 Technik car and have that one built. I’ve got the 2025 Mercedes in work. From I’ve seen I’ve only got the RB and McLaren after that. I tried to find a Kick Sauber, no luck.

Carlos Sainz seems to be a very good person. Very grounded…

It was definitely a fun race to watch. Yes, it was difficult watching Webber taking Hamilton out…

Accidental for DNF’ing him and accidental when Norris overtook him at Qatar.

Not use his car as a weapon at Spain? Having those points he lost would have won him the WDC.
December 10, 2025 at 3:46 PM
Not a great race. The only thing that made it worthy was the tension built by a close WDC battle and a Ferrari that was hanging uncomfortably closely to the eventual WDC. If CL16 would have gotten around LN4, MV33 would have been the WDC.

There is a reason it’s rated so highly by all the car magazines. Just as the Civic Type R is highly rated. Both amazing cars.

Very useful as always. Thank you for what you do.

Wache and the RBR tech team did a phenomenal job of turning a very finicky car with a narrow performance window into the fastest car by the end of the season.
Congratulations to Lando Norris, a very worthy World Driver’s Champion!

Wache and the technical team did a great job of turning a very finicky car into a very competitive car for the last half of the season.

His moment of ‘seeing red’ meant the WDC. Wache built a car with a narrow performance window and then struggled to find the right setups depending on circuit and environmentals. He did figure it out halfway through the season though and gave him the fastest car.

He was fantastic before his injury and still very fast after his injury.

My Type R was rated at 306HP and it felt like it. The Type S is rated at 320HP in the States but it’s more like 350HP. There was never an issue with hitting the rev limiter in the Type R, you have to be REALLY careful with the Type S, it gets there so much faster.

Fair point, hopefully Mekies will not make the non-MV33 driver a third class citizen that exists only to make MV33 more successful.
With that said, Helmut is still there. What influence does he have over what Mekies does?
December 7, 2025 at 6:37 PM
His only potential saving grace is that 2026 will bring a new car. Once RBR start to update it the car will lean towards MV33 and he will be left behind. There are too many data points where this happened at RBR. Any driver alongside MV33 is a third class citizen.

I still miss my 2021 Civic Type R but my 2025 Integra Type S has more power and is just a little more comfortable for everyday driving.
