Yea it should be acknowledged, but NEVER to the point where we forget their life up until that point, this is the difference between a good redemption story & one that falls flat. 3/4

Sometimes bad people do good to fix their mistakes.

Sometimes though, disappointingly often tbh, bad people do good deeds to cover for their crimes, Jimmy Savile did LOTS of charity work, but it doesn’t make him any less of a rapist nonce, an evil monster who deserved to be buried under hell. (2/4

but a bigger part is, they are specifically trying to foster negative polarization in their fans.. the key to their entire political project, is "get as much people online to dunk on me, so i can prove to my fans we are under attack and use that to negatively polarizing them against other groups"

Something I think a lot of people miss

they think the alt-right, chuds, etc.. try to be propeganda the way RT is propeganda in russia

and, theres an aspect of that

and thats why its no surprise, the politicians or political figures, whether on the left or center, that have been most successful at combating the alt-right, are the ones who go "im not gonna play that game"

theres a reason right-wingers occassionally make accounts on here, and then go back to twitter and cry when people block them

the core of the moderns right political strategy is sparking outrage so the online left yells or dunks on them, which they use to feed their victim complex
