Terminix without a mouth or hands on a blue background and an ambiguous mechanical structure above them. The text reads, "An interdimensional mechanical empire discovered the Vs. Dave Developer Console and created Terminix. Their only purpose was to learn it and embody it." "It adapted with each game release to mimic the terminal, even replacing it with themselves sometimes. THey were more like software than an individual or person. They did not have a .dat file, thus was not technically a character in-universe." Terminix is standing up in a 3/4 angle saying, "Unknown command Hello. terminix.dat is not a valid user or character." Expunged in his true form at a side angle in a black void, looking down confusedly at a much shorter Terminix. He says, "[THE FUCK?] [WHERE AM I?] [WHO ARE YOU?]" Terminix replies "Unknown command [THE". The annotations read, "However, the first time Expunged was granted admin with Terminix in the game, the expected interaction went off-script. They recognized that Terminix was not an ordinary part of the game, being a self-aware digital entity unlike all the other characters." "THis disrupted the normal timeline, which the game had to adjust to by creating a .dat file for Terminix due to Expunged perceiving and interacting with them like a character." Terminix is sitting down, looking in surprise down at its hands. "This .dat file became part of Terminix's code and granted them sapience and self-awareness." "It is no longer tethered to being a literal representation of the console and can interact with the game characters directly, but it doesn't talk much and can be cryptic when it does." Bambi shouts angrily, "ARE YOU STEALING MY CORN". Terminix only replies "Bambi.dat". "It's trying to learn as much as it can about the world now to understand its own identity and where it came from..."
