That is my annual "ritual" too. Glad I found KTLA which doesn't run ads every time there's a marching band. They even have a band channel which is without chatter. I really do not like those musical celebrity floats that stop so they can perform in the street. That's just so Macy's parade.

That has happened to a lot of folks. Not sure why. Some have speculated bluesky overload, with so many people joining all at once.
