I was just thinking about how TOYS deserves a cult following but doesn’t seem to have one. It’s got a banger soundtrack, clearly neurodivergent characters, and addresses conflict and violence in ways that seem prescient as fuck now. Legit deserves a Criterion release.

I realize this is the least of the issues with the latest episode, and there are plenty of instances since this line that backtrack on it. But in a future that recognizes this, where most animal products are lab grown or replicated, liking bacon wouldn’t still be the personality trait it is today.
