I didn't see the hearing, but is this "our healthcare plan will be made public in two weeks" again? Like they've said in for the last 8.5 years?

?? Your question makes no sense. Vegans want to stop using animals for their bodies and their labor, it's exploitative. Why WOULDN'T we want to replace animal fabrics with plant fabrics then? We know haircuts don't hurt, it's about the premise of enslaving a sentient species when we don't need to.

Oh did you just arrive on Earth? Let me tell you about our fabric choices that don't require using someone's body to make: flax linen, cotton in a variety of weaves, hemp linen, bamboo viscose, beech tree viscose, elastane, polyester, rayon, nylon, acrylic, tree acetate, and more! Hope this helps!

I guess it depends on the precision of data they're using. Data reporting should use the proper amount of significant digits even if it looks weird.
Otherwise if this data is used for further calculations you can start to get inaccuracies.

That's a decimal point, not a comma.

They're averaging the years, not adding them together. The graph is "annual deaths".

Do you mean "skew" the stats? Skewer means something else. What in the graph is making you believe the data are skewed?

Yeah, he's fallen victim to that thing that happens with a lot of experts in a particular field, that they assume they can also speak intelligently on any random topic from other unrelated fields. It's ego.

Nice! I can't have kite hill because of the almonds but it was definitely the best tasting vegan cream cheese before the rash started. This one says allergen free so hopefully my local stores carry it!

Risk of theft is low, just store them in a heavily moosed area.

Ok, maybe Jon can bow out and tag in Trevor Noah to come back for this one.

They can attack livestock: $
Possibly also because they drive deer populations towards human towns and farms, the deer eat the crops intended for the livestock: $

Well TSA sucks at it, always has. Remember how we all hated TSA, on both sides of the aisle? Caught letting weapons through and caught stealing meds. I'm not for airlines doing security screening but I think airports could do as well as or better than TSA as long as good standards were implemented.

I'm curious what miso soup, potato chips, bagels, and bbq sauce were considered the unrestricted version because those things are usually vegan-friendly already, unless they are flavored versions like sour cream and onion chips or honey bbq sauce. Seems like that added a little cost unnecessarily.

You could've just not left a comment, instead you detract from a heartfelt plea to stop supporting injustice with "no I will not stop my part in this cruelty, I have a picky pallette you see and I need you to know about it". The disrespect.
February 18, 2025 at 10:47 PM
That's obviously not the plan because a) the whole world ceasing to exploit chickens at once, or even within a decade, is not realistically going to happen, and b) releasing billions of a completely domesticated animal into the wild would be harmful to those animals and to the ecosystems.
