Break it down so that people can see how this will negatively impact them on a personal and local level. The more personal you make the message, the more people will actually listen, understand the impacts, and loudly resist or at least encourage their Representatives to do so!

Starting locally. Volunteering at the local food bank and meals on wheels, and seeing where we go from there. Just have to do SOMETHING positive for others.

If you go on slowflowers.com you can search local florists and flower farmers committed to using locally grown flowers and order directly from them!! Cut out the middleman, and go directly to the local (and usually small business) source! Fresh locally grown flowers are the best!

Oh I don’t disagree. What I was specifically referring to was the openness to hear a reasonable argument contrary to one’s initial position, digest it (not
immediately discount it) and be able to admit that is an interesting point worth discussing further and perhaps you were wrong.
