The artist for that particular piece is Lou Feck. It's one of my favorites. It would be amazing if the original were to turn up and prints were offered....

I haven't got to try it out yet but it seems very much in-line with my vision to a Star Trek game. And yes, if it's a well designed system it should adapt to other settings without needing too much effort.

If I remember, it's just the regular LAM/Gerwalk with a raised detail if the Crescent Hawks emblem on the wing. It should be easy to recreate nowadays with 3d printing.

Yes, Joe. It looks like you are.

That's kind of what Blood Bowl is. But, yeah, there are hundreds of skirmish rulesets on Wargames Vault, and many of them are free. I like the Fistful of Lead series from Wiley Games. The original was a western gunfight game but they have sets covering just about any period and genre.

I had the LAM from the mail-in. Sold it in 90s IIRC. Who knew we'd still be playing Battletech in the 2020's?

That you do. And they are great. I'm looking forward to more in 2026.

Congratulations, Star Trek Tour! After reading about the Galileo's travails these last 60 years, it's really kind of a "Shuttle of Theseus" based on how many times it been rebuilt. It's a wonder it survived at all!

I'm torn. I'm Kathleen's book-curious, but I don't want it spoiled.

Happy Birthday Remi! My one-ear-up Mexican street pup, Mr. Spock, just celebrated his third Xmas in Canada. He was adopted from a group in Playa del Carmen.

The pylons are similar to the Farragut from SNW.

Neither myself or google are familiar with the term "smack workhorse". Google only finds it in the description of this ship.

This is not the first time we've seen a blonde Kathleen around Xmas time.

I'm really liking your Trek 3D designs. Do you make them available somewhere? They'd be great additions to my 1/2500 scale wargaming fleets.
