Yeah we need to due a monopoly break up like what was done in the 80s with AT&T and Ma Bell. Too few companies own too many other companies. Example: Amazon owns 112 other companies and that's on top of their Prime and AWS. Amazon owns and controls too many things.

The Democrats did their fair share of damage. The Clinton era HMO debacle is what has led to astronomical healthcare costs. Both parties are to blame for the current issues facing us. The first thing that needs to happen is repealing the Citizens United ruling. Then healthcare reform.
