Car park at the east end of The Pencaitland Railway Path has been closed. This is on NCN196, and while the gap in the blocks looks wide enough maintain access, a third parked car was pulling away as I arrived which I suspect would have been blocking it for all but pedestrians and two wheeled bikes.

They finally made some improvements to to a junction around Abercorn park, a kid was badly injured there a while back. They put in some build outs and a table crossing. Drivers just starting parking on it. They've had to put bollards in to try and deter the selfish bastards!

I appreciate this smacks of whataboutery, and totally agree that sewerage discharges into our rivers and seas has to end, but Edinburgh residents really have to take some responsibility for the inappropriate stuff they chuck down our drains.
