Intense and thrilling with an emotional core. Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn are incredible in it. The cat is also a star.
Very little to fault, though it's less scary than the others in the series.

Taking it back to the 80s. Super creative and definitely the best sequel in the franchise.
Some gruesome kills that still stand up today.
But it descends into too cheesy territory that would plague the rest of the sequels.

The dialogue is, for the most part, atrocious, but that doesn't get in the way of how fun this twisty movie is. If you like an unserious murder thriller, it's for you.
Also the arms of all the men deserve an Oscar.
