So happy with my new cross stitch floss storage!
Since I started stitching full coverage, I didn't like the floss bobbin system any longer.
So I made my own cards @vistaprint and used a 9 mm (3/8") punch hole to make these floss cards.

This is such an enjoyable knit. It has been a while since I knitted something so quickly!
Since my row gauge was slightly off, I used given measurements instead of row counts. Therefore, had to reverse the joining sequence.

Our eldest moves into her first apartment next week. (She has lived in student housing for almost 10 years!)
She chose this pattern by Emma Congdon, carefully matched DMC colours to her paint swatches, and coloured the pattern for me to stitch. #crossstitch

This week, I used an i-cord maker by Locoporella to add a new i-cord to this Beam Me Up shawl.
By picking up a stitch every other row, I managed to make it much stretchier than it was.
Now it has room to grow...

This was so much fun to knit! I used fingering weight instead of DK, so I had to adjust the pattern. This means I have knit the first grey part after the yoke three times to get the right fit.
