Every day Trump does something more horrific than the last. How are we letting this happen? Man I love California, but I may need to leave this country before it sucks me and my friends and family into a living hell. Or California should succeed from the union.

US Veterans peacefully protesting Trump’s military birthday parade arrested at Capitol Hill. This is the moment a 80+ year old US veteran is taken away in handcuffs for practicing his 1st Amendment right. #3E #NoKings #NoKingsProtests (🎥 @gregjstoker.bsky.social )

Seems like as good as time as any to remind everyone that the military swears an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, not any individual, including the President. #padilla #protest #laprotests #rainonhisparade #crooksandliars #foxnews #trump #weakleader

“No taxpayer should be forced to fund the demise of our country”. Sounds like the White House is advising me not to pay federal taxes.

When a space program can be canceled on an afternoon whim over a spat with the president, it's a strong argument against privatizing government programs and services.

I mean come on folks, aren’t we done with Trump? Can’t we just send him to some foreign land? Like Mars. Even that place shouldn’t be polluted with that festering pile of narcissism.

Fire him today! Trumps rate of inflicting damage is astounding. Stand up and remove him!

If we wanted to make sure every rapist and murder was in jail or deported we should just detain every single person in the US. Guaranteed success!

Costly parking mandates prioritize and subsidize car storage space over living space.

We can't afford to keep making life affordable for cars and unaffordable for people.

Agreed. As I’ve said before, insurance is the head of the climate change hammer.
Home insurance in areas hit by repetitive disasters is going to be the number one housing affordability issue over the next 4 years. And possibly going into the midterms.

More so than interest rates. Florida in particular is going to have huge problems.
Here in Florida we have a housing crisis of our own - developers are building affordable homes all around, but many are sitting empty because people can't afford the necessary home insurance.

Many great quotes in here, like “fluffy gravel”. The take away for people interested in the intersection of rivers and habitat is that obstructions are good. Rivers need more of them. Urban streams too. But guess what. That means we need…

A mighty heap of logs can provide many benefits to salmon and people along the Lower Elwha River.

Bluesky might be better, but I need more folks to follow. Where are the stream and habitat restoration folks, landscape architecture design folks, and clever witty people? Right now I’m getting a lot of posts about galaxies and birds….

Who is going to lead the effort to adopt gondolas as Marin’s primary transit system to replace cars? Imagine taking a gondola from the ferry to Muir Woods and Muir Beach and replacing the roads and parking lots with forests, grasslands, wetlands, and creeks.

We Need to Reclaim Gondolas as an Urban Transportation and Climate Solution. Here’s Why.
Cities should include these aerial cable cars in their transit planning.
