Oh no, you had to call and tell them a new person came into existence so they could given them insurance at no marginal cost to you. What a hassle, totally similar to murder.
United healthcare initially denied coverage for my daughter’s birth because she wasn’t named on the policy at the time of services. This is not a joke, this really happened.
