His award-winning PhD-thesis explores income & wealth before and after the Black Death in the Southern Low Countries & Florence.

The Brantijser Foyer will host the exhibition 'Traces of War, Faces of Hope' by Italian photographer Mario Boccia. His mid-1990s Sarajevo photographs portray a city in ruins yet full of hope and creativity.The opening is on the 2nd of april.
