Does anyone have a personal recommendation for a good book on the Hermetic #Tarot? I've seen quite a few people point towards 'Tarot Deciphered: Decoding Esoteric Symbolism in Modern Tarot' as a useful starting point, but wondered what else others may have read...

I've seen a few things recently about how, if a tarot reader has to consult a book or something to double-check a meaning during a reading, that means they shouldn't be taking on paying clients because they're not ready - they don't know enough and it clearly marks them as unprofessional. Nonsense.

I recently spoke with someone at a local witch-adjacent business about reading and teaching tarot there. We had some fantastic discussions about queer and neurodivergent-affirming practices, and I agreed to put together an e-mail outlining my services so the owner could see how these might fit in.

Does anyone else out there want to connect with, and create, community but find the fact they intensely dislike social media hampers their desire/efforts? I keep thinking that I should 'be better' and 'be good' when it comes to posting, replying, etc. but it drains me in a way I can't quite qualify.

Happy #Beltane, everyone! I hope you all have a marvellous day, however you celebrate! It's important to take these days to celebrate where you can, even when the most awful things are happening around us and to us. They bring us closer to ourselves and others, and bring hope and joy. All necessary!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: 'Another social media account for me to forget about! Follow to see me not post about #witchcraft and tarot! Woo!'
